Welcome To Watch here March Madness 2020
College basketball now starts your time in the spotlight. It’s March’s month, which means we’re just weeks away from the madness that’s the basketball tournament for men from the NCAA. While there is plenty to be decided between now and Selection Sunday, relative stability is at the top— thanks to Baylor surviving a Texas Tech overtime scare on Monday.
We’ll highlight our four picks to be crowned as No. 1 seeds after setting out all the must-knows of the 2020 tournament schedule. Kawhi Leonard beams confidently sometimes, and perhaps laughs nervously, too.
His old college club essentially steams any group that’s put in front of it. The Aztecs have a single blemish on their otherwise flawless 28-1 record— their lone loss was a three-point defeat at the hands of UNLV last month— and while some could criticize their lack of competition in the Mountain West, this squad should not be underestimated.
KenPom.com lists San Diego State as the country’s 11th best team of offensives. The defense is the seventh most productive of the country. The Aztecs are one of only three teams to earn top-12 performance rankings at both ends of the court–along with Kansas and Duke’s blue blood.
The Aztecs have four players who average double figures, led by Malachi Flynn’s 17.6 junior point guard per game. Junior Matt Mitchell and senior Yanni Wetzell from a persistent front-court pairing, and Junior Jordan Schakel will catch fire from a distance at any time (63-of-145, 43.4%).

2020 March Madness Tickets
The 2020 South Dakota Class AA high school state basketball tournament will take place from 19-21 March at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Arena.
Tickets for the entire tournament are available now. This will be the last year of the mixed version of the tournament with the games of the girl and the boy rotating all day.
All-session tickets are available for adults at $45 and students at $30 respectively. All-session tickets allow the fans to join and watch all games throughout the three days of the tournament. Single-session passes are also on sale to adults for $15 and to students for $10. Single-session tickets are for a single day and still allow access to both the PREMIER Center and Sioux Falls Arena for all games.
Remain fifteen days before Sunday of Choice. Dayton Flyers fans can turn in at 6 p.m. via TBS. 15 March and hear the name of their team called for the first time since 2017 and for the fifth time in seven seasons. With their winning streak hitting 17 games on Tuesday, it’s just a matter of who they’re going to play in the NCAA tournament, where they’re going to play, and whether they’re going to receive an at-large berth or an automatic berth as Atlantic 10 champions.
It will be his fourth NCAA tournament appearance as a head coach in 12 seasons, for Anthony Grant. In three seasons his VCU teams have hit the big dance twice. His third team got a bid from Alabama. In his first two seasons at Dayton, Grant was playing on NCAA tournament teams. With two regular-season games left over, plus the Atlantic 10 tournament, it’s too early to ask Grant about March Madness, but looking ahead is fun.
How to buy tickets: This week UD revealed how the ticketing process for the postseason will work. A request list for season ticket holders and qualifying members of the Champions & Scholars Fund who want to buy NCAA tournament tickets began to be created. Although admitting that the team is focused on the Atlantic 10 season, UD is getting a jump start on the NCAA tickets in previous seasons due to “unprecedented demand”
2020 March Madness Predictions
SHAKE. IS. MARCH. Flipping the calendar to the best month of the year means we are only two short weeks away from Selection Sunday. A lot of pushing and shifting has occurred since our last Bracket Watch over the weekend, followed by a handful of upsets and the revival of two Power 6 programmes. With only one or two regular season games remaining, teams are now setting their sights on conference tournaments which offer the best opportunities to score a few more quality wins before the final decision of the committee. –KM.
UCLA has finally thrown the bubble race into turmoil, pushing home the Arizona schools up to the top of the Pac 12 standings (cap tip to Jaime Jaquez Jr., who buried Arizona State with a buzzer-beater and loves basketball. I also do, Jaime!). With that, UCLA is technically a “deal stealer” as things stand; if they were in the at-large pool (this is true for both Ky and myself), the Bruins would not be quite in the picture. That gives March’s first true rooting interest to other bubble teams: whoever plays the Bruins in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament.
Texas is #back everywhere, and Shaka is #Smart again, as the Longhorns came into the picture after Quad 1 wins back-to-back (West Virginia at home, Texas Tech). They’re still just 6-11 against the top-two quadrants, somewhat tempering the anticipation, but rest assured the’ Horns will be present and accounted for in our latest Tuesday Bubble Watch. On the other side, Rutgers is sliding quickly, having lost six of its last eight games. The Scarlet Knights have a big date with Maryland Tuesday night at the RAC; they don’t need it per se, but it’s a great opportunity to add an elite win at this stage of the year. The Atlantic-10 also plummeted into dangerous territory, with Rhode Island clinging to the last at-large bid in both of our brackets after physical St. Louis grinded into dust. Welcome to Week 3 of the March Madness predictions of the Sporting News, known around these parts as the “Field of 68.” Heading into play on Monday, 27 teams in the NET top 60 have nine, 10 or 11 defeats— in case you needed a sneak peek at the challenge of filling out the bracket this week. Our goal is to send you a snapshot of numbers for each team, together with a note or two for most squads. This is not a prediction of what the seed lines on Selection Sunday would look like, but an educated guess of how the bracket will look if the season finished on Sunday, March 1. Our goal is to provide you with some of the information the selection committee will use— a combination of statistics and other related facs
March Madness Odds
In what is probably the broadest field we’ve seen in years, on April 6, there’s a three-way logjam as favorite to cut down the nets as Kansas, Baylor, and Gonzaga all top the list with+ 1,000 odds. The two top teams in the ACC, Duke and Louisville, come in next at+ 1,400 and+ 1,600 respectively, while the unbeaten San Diego State gives bettors + 1,800 chances.
Oddsmakers at Bet365, one of the world’s most popular online sportsbooks, don’t foresee a repeat champion as the Virginia Cavaliers are sitting at+ 5.500. Texas Tech, the runner-up for 2019, joins at + 6,000. Sportsbooks will post NCAA men’s basketball championship odds as early as the summer before the start of the season. Throughout the winter, those chances are continually changed when players get injured, suspended, or traded. Once the season starts in November, the chances of the championship can change as often as the teams win and lose games and the players get injured or suspended. Sportsbooks will also change the futures odds of March Madness to certain teams based on treatment and liability. It means that if the Jayhawks win the NCAA men’s basketball championship you’ll stand to win $1,100 on a $100 bet. If it’s near the end of the regular season, or even has a very dominant team during the playoffs and college basketball, you might see a team has a minus sign-) (ahead of their chances.
March Madness’s around the road. The play-in First Four games start on Tuesday, March 17. The tournament excitement then officially begins at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday, March 19 with the start of 66 action-packed, single elimination games before a national champion is crowned on April 6.
With less than a month to the beginning of the college basketball conference tournaments, it’s a great time to be adventurous and look for some decent bets in the betting market for the futures. This year, bettors will opt for Texas Tech last season, which was bid in the range of 200 to 125-1 only to lose in overtime to the Virginia Cavaliers in the national championship game.
There are still a couple of weeks to go before Selection Sunday, when 68 schools will find out about their March Madness fates. But the best teams in the field are starting to distinguish themselves, giving us a good idea of who’s going to be favored at the tournament.
As the calendar flips to March, it’s worth looking at which teams are perceived to be the favourites to be the ones cutting the Atlanta nets. There are many ways in which the best teams can be evaluated, from the national rankings to different statistical forecasts. But Caesars Palace’s real betting odds are very revealing.
March Madness History
March Madness is the spot where stories come to life. Many of the best players on the NBA have dominated the largest stage of college basketball. Conversely, due to their tournament results some players who never made it to NBA glory live on memories in March Madness. Austin Carr had the best of both worlds. He scored the most points in March Madness history, although he was from an age before three-pointers. Unlike any other sporting event, March Madness is built on the back of special moments. These can include anything ranging from a ridiculous performance to a single clutch play, or a player overcoming off-court challenges in order to be successful on court.
With March Madness’s vastness of the pool and win-or-go-home existence, it can generate stakes that other sports can’t replicate. In the early rounds a regular season behemoth can be humbled; a tale of Cinderella can emerge from a smaller school. Players are given national exposure, and the opportunity to prove themselves to the world. Perhaps this is what makes those moments so special in the sporting arena in the NCAA tournament. Although several unforgettable moments get lost in the shuffle, others live on decades, such as Carr’s historic performances.
None shines brighter than the 61-point success Carr made against Ohio in the 1970 tournament. From the start he dominated the series, scoring 25 of Notre Dame’s first 32 points— 37 points alone in the first period. Ohio was unable to avoid Carr as he drove down to the basket. At half-time, what was a close game, 54-41, turned into a blowout as he started his barrage.
Carr scored his 61st and final point to add 108-78 to the Fighting Irish, finishing off his legendary performance and sending Ohio packing. It remains a season for celebration. Although it is a remnant of a bygone era, it has proven to be Carr’s coming-out party.
For the fourth straight year the NCAA March Madness Bracket Preview will be hosted by Turner Sports and CBS Sports. The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Selection Committee will give an in-season peek at the bracket of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, starting at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8. On CBS ET.
NCAA Men’s Basketball Committee Chair and Duke Vice President and Athletics Director Kevin White will be in-studio to announce the top 16 seeds nationally, naming the top four teams in each region as they stand on Feb 8.
The collection, seeding process and logic behind current rankings will be discussed by Host Greg Gumbel, analysts Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis and White.
CBSSports.com bracketologist Jerry Palm will also enter the exhibition to forecast the balance of the 68-team bracket, evaluate bubble teams and highlight key story lines as March arrives quickly.
Men’s Basketball Tournament
The men’s basketball tournament for the 2020 Horizon League will decide which team will get an automatic bid to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
\The tournament is scheduled to start March 3 and continue through March 10. The first two rounds are to be played at the home gym of the highest seeded graduate. The final two rounds will be played in Indianapolis, at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
Six of the 10 teams in the Horizon League reach the playoffs with the top two schools getting a double-bye. The DII men’s basketball tournament schedule was highlighted by the 75th tournament of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, one of the oldest basketball tournament in all the lore of college. Winston-Salem prevailed in a dramatic 63-62 fashion, making the Rams the first team to reach the NCAA DII 2020 men’s basketball championship bracket automatically. On Sunday, March 8, we’ll learn about the 2020 NCAA DII men’s basketball tournament field when the 2020 selection shows airs right here on NCAA.com at 10:30 p.m. ET: The Basketball Committee for Men’s NCAA Division III today announced the field of 64 teams for the 2020 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship.
The Championship provides for a tournament of 64 teams. 43 conference champions are awarded automatic qualification (AQ), which forms “Pool A.” One team is chosen from true independents and schools from conferences which do not have an automatic bid for their champions (Pool B). For conferences with automatic bids that did not win the AQ of their conference and the remaining Pool B institutions (Pool C) the remaining 20 teams are drawn from those teams. The teams are grouped geographically, wherever possible. Friday-Saturday, March 6-7, seventeen sites will host four teams for the first-and second-round competition. Second-round winners will advance to Friday-Saturday, March 13-14, one of eight third-round locations. Eight third-round games winners will progress to the quarterfinals and semifinals on 20 and 21 March. The two semifinal contest winners will advance to final April 5.

With the unveiling of the 68-team March Madness bracket just around the corner, the madness of March is almost upon us.
There is uncertainty and intrigue every year, but in what has been a parity-driven season in college basketball, the 2020 version of the NCAA Tournament could be different from any other. Below you’ll find all the information you need to know about the 2020 tournament, including a full schedule, tournament venue list, info on Selection Sunday, top 25 rankings and bracket predictions. The 2020 March Madness drama will begin on Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18, with play-in games in the First Four.
After the reduction of the field to 64 players, the first round play will take place on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20 with 16 games both days.
Each game of March Madness can be seen on CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV, as well as the March Madness app. The selection show for March 2020 will be on TBS and available on the March Madness app and on NCAA.com via live stream. In addition to matchup dates, game sites, typeff times and TV channels, the show will reveal each of the 68 teams that were selected to the tournament. Greg Gumbel will take on the duties of the studio host as he unveils the bracket. SN’s forecasts and reasons for March Madness’s top 16 seeds overall for 2020 are below. The teams are listed in parentheses by region with seed line to the left of each team and 1-16 seed rank overall. Winning over Kansas (away), Villanova (neutral) and Arizona and Butler (both home) in the process, the AP No. 1 team lost its second game of the season to Washington but has been perfect ever since. The Jayhawks lead the nation on schedule power, and are the only team with 10 Quad-I victories. SDSU is the last unbeaten squad in the nation and the NET leader in the world, checking in with wins over Creighton, BYU and Iowa. With wins away from home over Arizona and Oregon, the Bulldogs should feel confident about their chances of landing yet another No. 1 seed. The loss of Stephen F. Austin hurts but there is a serious case to be made about the potential of the Blue Devils as a top seed with wins away from home over Kansas and Michigan State. The community of Chris Mack may top out as No. 2 seed, but that’s a great spot to be in what figures is a chaotic March month. At Duke, cardinals get a victory.
WVa’s top scheduling run (No. 4) and 10 combined Quad-I / II wins make up for a 3-4 road record with a mediocre. With overtime defeats to Kansas and Colorado, the Flyers have yet to lose in regulation. But there is still no top-30 NET win on the resume. Myles Powell’s squad flew late big. The Pirates own a 12-5 record this season against Quad-I / II rivals with wins over Maryland and Butler. Another good road win would be sweet, as the Wildcats have only one NET top-50 road win to date. Perhaps the Kansas win and the strength of the schedule support. If FSU could defeat Duke or Louisville again, that would be a big boost to the resume of the Seminoles. Another top-tier victory

It could be the widest-open NCAA Tournament in years, because obviously there is no dominant school out there. There’s only one school that’s still nationally undefeated and that’s Mountain West Conference San Diego State. The Aztecs have never reached a Final Four and are in the odds of winning the NCAA Tournament at OddsShark.com’s controlled sportsbooks. Auburn was, last week, the last power conference team to lose. The staff of the Coach Bruce Pearl is+ 3000. The Tigers reached the Final Four in 2019 before losing in a thriller to eventual champion Virginia.
Top-ranked teams are losing at an unprecedented rate; five were losing ahead of New Year. Michigan State was the country’s No.1 pre-season team but lost its opener… and has four total defeats now. Online betting platforms, the Spartans have fallen from one-time favorites to win their first national title since 2000 to + 1400. Since that 2000 Sparty team, no Big Ten school has won the National title. Ohio State is+ 2000 and Maryland + 2200 but Tom Izzo’s club is in fact the only chance of the meeting.
March Madness 2020 Live Stream Free
In 2020, March Madness airs on a combination of CBS and three separate Turner cable stations. If you have a Turner-heavy cable package, you will be able to catch each of the 67 games, but the streaming picture is a bit more complicated if you are a cord cutter.
We’ll show you how to get all set up as painlessly as possible, so you won’t have to miss one minute of the action from the first four in March to the last four in April! You can watch at least some of March Madness on your nearest CBS affiliate if you just want to catch a game or two here or there. If you want to watch it all, or at least have the opportunity to, then you need to make sure that you have access to CBS and three separate Turner cable stations. The streaming picture is pretty complicated because March Madness games are split between four separate broadcasters. If you want to catch every game of March Madness, you must make sure you have access to CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV, too.
Such channels can be accessed via various streaming services. Services that carry TBS, TNT and truTV do so regardless of your venue, as long as you’re in the United States. On the other hand, services which carry CBS make it available only in specific markets.
YouTube TV would represent the best choice for most people to watch March Madness. It includes TBS, TNT, and truTV and, in most markets, it also provides CBS. Most of the other choices are also available but your local CBS station is less likely to be included.
For most people the worst March Madness alternative is fuboTV, as it does not include TBS, TNT or truTV. CBS All Access is a streaming service that provides live CBS access in addition to on-demand access to the entire CBS show back catalog, including exclusives such as Star Trek Discovery.
If you can not access CBS because of your position through any of the online streaming services then CBS All Access is your only choice.

The first day of March is officially March MI. You know exactly what that means.
Spring, St. Patrick’s Day and March Madness of course! The biggest basketball tournament is on the horizon and literally millions of people across the U.S. can’t wait to start the action. The first is the best, win! The members of the 32 Division I conference earn an automatic bid to the big dance. That’s one of the reasons that makes this tourney so perfect. Even if a team has a regular season subpar, all they need to do is win their conference tournament and they get a NCAA tournament bid. Such teams are called Automatic Qualifiers. The second avenue for an invitation is an at-large bid.
A panel of NCAA experts known as the selection committee is meeting on Selection Sunday and is putting together a list of teams they feel have made a strong case for making it to the NCAA Tournament.

The National College Players Association is calling on the NCAA to consider holding without an audience the March Madness men’s basketball tournament to protect players from coronavirus.
“The NCAA and its colleges will take precautions to protect college athletes in the face of the potential coronavirus pandemic,” the group said in a statement released Saturday. “As far as the NCAA March Madness Tournament and other athletic events are concerned, there should be a serious discussion about conducting competitions without an audience present,” added the group.
The National College Players Association, a non-profit group that advocates for college athletes, has also called on the NCAA to postpone meet-and-greets and press conferences that would put players in touch with fans.
The NCAA could not be contacted immediately for comment.
There are more than 60 confirmed coronavirus cases nationwide. The state of Washington reported on Saturday the first US death from the virus.
The NCAA will announce the bracket with the 68 teams competing in the March 15 playoffs, known as Selection Sunday, with the first four games played at the University of Dayton in Ohio on March 17 and 18.
March Madness Winners
The calendar has officially turned to March and the chaos begins now, though Selection Sunday is still a few weeks away. The run of 32 conference tournaments that lead to automatic NCAA tournament bids begins Tuesday. Bubble teams will move up or out; others will fight for a high seed. The Atlantic Sun, Big South, Horizon and Patriot are among those to start first Tuesday, followed by the likes of the Mountain West, Northeast and Ohio Valley on Wednesday. The return of the7-footer after missing a hand injury in 2018-19 was one of the main reasons why the No.1-ranked Jayhawks are the clear favorite national title. Azubuike is averaging 13.4 points and 10.4 rebounds when paired with dynamic guard Devon Dotson for an inside out team. In a Feb. 22 statement win over Baylor he had 23 points and 19 boards. The Washington State junior transfer was the key player in the surprising 26-0 start from the Aztecs before they suffered their first loss last week. He averages 16.9 points and 5.1 assists and ranks 10th in the aid-to-turnover ratio nationally. The Buccaneers (27-4) will either enter the field as an at-large or conditional tender. In last year’s tournament the Flames pulled off a stunner by beating the Mississippi State in the first round. If they can win the Atlantic Sun tourney they could very well be back for more in 2020. This team is second in the country in defense, allowing opponents just 52.8 points a game, and that makes sense since head coach Ritchie McKay is a Tony Bennett disciple at UVA. Senior guard Caleb Homesley (15.0 ppg) is coming back as the star of this squad. The Blue Devils lost 3 of their last 4 and are hardly peaking in March. Coach Mike Krzyzewski has a great floor leader in sophomore point guard Tre Jones and a dynamic big man in Vernon Carey Jr., but Duke looked defensively stagnant, and that’s just focused more on a mediocre half-court offence. The lake of this party was highlighted by a 22-point loss to North Carolina State on 19 Feb.

Every summer, the Boulder JCC provides several day camp options for children entering kindergarten through high school for 12 weeks. Registration is now available, at a reduced rate, for all camp programs. Prices on April 1 will grow. The great camp offerings at the Boulder JCC which many Boulder County families have come to love continue to expand. This year, our classic day camp is widening our amazing team to include a specialist in fitness, painting and farming for more of the kids love programmes. In addition to the weekly trip to the beach, there will be field trips available for kids in fourth grade and above to take advantage of all that Boulder has to offer. The event began in 2013 when a kindergarten student in Pine Valley was diagnosed with leukemia. The Buckets fundraiser for Brett took place in 2014, and raised $10,000. The March Madness Fund is designed to help any student in Pine Valley who has a serious illness or life-threatening illness, has been involved in a serious accident, has lost a parent, or has lost their home in a fire or natural disaster. The doors open at 13 p.m., with free entrance. Grades 7-12 will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a basketball tournament, after which the alumni game will be at 3 p.m., and the NYS Troopers vs. the Sheriffs Department game at 5 p.m. At the beginning of the game between the NYS Troopers vs. Sheriffs, the unique choral group in the Pine Valley music department called “The Treble Cats” agreed to perform the National Anthem. According to Mansfield, they have trained with their vocal coach, Mary Kay Himes, and are “very excited to go” Chinese Auctions and Concessions will be available throughout the day. While the basketball tournament, alumni games, Chinese auction and concessions will be funded by the CIA and all the money collected will be donated to the March Madness Fund, the 2021 PV Class will also hold a carnival on the same day.”We felt that hosting both events on the same day would be a bonus to everyone and make a great success for everyone. The carnival is 1-5 p.m. and includes face painting, carnival games and “minute to win it” games.

In memory of Stockton Springs native and Searsport High School alumnus Arnold Connor, the March Madness Benefit will be held this year at Searsport District High School on Saturday, March 7th. Connor, a long-time SDHS custodian and now an auctioneer and owner of Bumpa’s Antiques & Collectibles Auctions, lives with life-threatening medical complications, including weak heart function and kidney failure at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ICU. Funds raised would help offset medical co-paid costs, living expenses for his wife Dot, the only source of income after her husband retired and became ill, as well as expenses for food, travel and accommodation. There will be a lot of people around Glynn’s marshes in the coming weeks as the annual Marsh Madness cleanup campaign of Keep Golden Isles Beautiful extends to 20 separate locations across March, but kicks off early in late February. This is an increase from the 12 sites address in 2019. And there are four private cleanup events planned, in addition to the 20 public sites. KGIB Executive Director Lea King-Badyna said it wouldn’t be possible with the volunteer site leaders and community partners.”They are organizing cleanups for us, and that helps us to expand our scope, “she said. She also gave Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose kudos for organizing the event again, which is part of the Great American Cleanup by Keep America Beautiful.
There is no government agency tasked with keeping garbage out of the marshes, so KGIB and the general public are making this effort to fill the need.”We have different days and times, trying to fit in with just about everybody’s schedule, “said King-Badyna. “If people want to get muddy with us, they can, but also all the cleanups have marsh-bordering high grounds, so people don’t have to get muddy if they don’t want to.” Usual detritus pulled out of the marsh tends to be plastics.
March Madness Picks
Barring surges, the answer is to not invite them to the NCAA tournament, even though by pretty much any objective measure they are both dangerous. Purdue has upended Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Virginia and Wisconsin, was ranked 36th in the NCAA’s NET system entering Monday and is a top-30 team by all three predictive metrics listed on the NCAA tournament selection committee’s team sheets. Minnesota is a bit less successful, but it owns an Ohio State sweep and defeated Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin. It is 42nd in the NET and has no losses outside of the NCAA’s top two evaluative system quadrants. Both sound like good at-large candidates. But here’s the problem: Both Big Ten schools entered the week at.500 (the Boilermakers at 14-14, the Golden Gophers at 13-13), which All schools have also done an excessive amount of their professional work at home, complicating matters too. In Indiana Purdue won, and in Columbus Minnesota knocked off Ohio State. But without the opportunity to play home games in the NCAA tournament, both team profiles could create skepticism. Purdue lost four in a row and still has Indiana, Iowa and Rutgers to go ahead of the Big Ten tournament, with Iowa the only road game in the mix. Minnesota is going to combine home games against Maryland and Nebraska on trips to Wisconsin and Indiana heading into the league tournament. Both need to string together victories in a hurry to land a spot in the field of 68.

March’s madness is almost upon us, and things are starting to heat up at DraftKings Sportsbook PA. Although Pennsylvania sports bettors are eagerly awaiting the conference tournament season tip-off on Mar. 3 and going through Selection Sunday on Mar. 15, DraftKings is getting a head start on one of the best betting months of the year with a slew of promos and odds boosts. The betting board is action packed Friday night through Sunday with 20 men’s basketball games featuring ranked teams, including four men’s basketball games. Of particular interest to those in PA may be the Big Ten showdown between No. Regular season enthusiasm continues into the conference tournaments which become a separate entity. Winners of those tournaments advance into the post-season but, as history suggests, there’s no guarantee that these teams will progress from the Big Dance’s first weekend.”For us, the end of February was perfect, “Bogdanovich said. “It’s something that’s good news every time you say you’re mad about a bookmaker.” Mighty teams dropped and parlay cards went with them. Baylor, the country’s top team for two weeks back, lost to Kansas (understandable) and TCU (a 13-loss team, puzzling) on consecutive Saturdays. Duke lost to Virginia last weekend and started a 1-3 tailspin in February. Looks like the team books listed as the fourth likely to win the NCAA championship just last week. Before suffering a crushing loss to Clemson, Florida State reached the sixth place. How heartbreaking. With eight seconds left, the Seminoles took the lead, only to see a buzzer-beating layup, practically hanging on the rim, taunting bettors with a half-in, half-out look, before driving through the hoop. And in February it happened.

The bracket is set for the 2020 Mountain West Conference Tournament, which will kick off in Las Vegas on Wednesday and run until Saturday when a champion is crowned on CBS. According to CBS Sports Bracketology Expert Jerry Palm, Top-seeded San Diego State (28-1) joins the game as a potential No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while No. 2 seed Utah State enters as a projected NCAA Tournament team according to Palm. Otherwise, the field will consist of teams fighting for the automatic NCAA Tournament qualification that comes with the conference tournament win. If there is one team to watch in that search, it is Nevada (19-11, 12-6) that joins the conference’s hottest team as arguably as possible. The Wolf Pack will be the No. 3 seed after winning six straight entering Saturday’s regular season finale against San Diego State. Nevada took a lead of 45-36 and threatened to turn over their second loss to the Aztecs in three days. But the state of San Diego rallied for a win 83-76. No. 4 seed Nevada also join the tournament trend in the right direction after winning its last five regular-season games, a run that included an upset by the Aztecs on Feb. 22. After Butler won three straight against the Wildcats, Villanova has won five in a row against Butler, dating back to February 2018. Seton Hall (8-1 Big East) trails the two schools in the conference standings. Villanova was projected to earn a No. 3 seed and Butler a No. 6 seed in March Madness correspondent Andy Katz’s latest NCAA tournament projections on Feb. 3.They could both use a win as they both lost home to unranked opponents on Saturday. With Butler sits at No. 12 in the NET rankings, as of Monday, and Villanova at No. 13, this will be a Quadrant 1 game for both teams— the kind that can imprint on both teams. Butler is the more balanced team— No. 32 in offensive efficiency, No. 22 defensively — but the offense against Villanova, ranked No. 18, is the best single unit in the series. The Wildcats have five players averaging double figures, led by the junior guard Collin Gillespie at 15.3 points per game. Butler senior guard Kamar Baldwin will enter the match as the highest scorer per game (16 points per game). He only had one assist and he took a game-high 21 shots, making nine, in the last game between these two teams and no one else attempted more than 11, so keep an eye on how Baldwin balances shot-creation for himself versus for his teammates. The 2020 March Madness drama will commence with play-in games in the First Four on Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18.After the field is reduced to 64 teams, first round action will take place on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20, with 16 games both days.
